Who We Are
FERAt - Federação Estadual Rio de Janeiro de Atletismo (Rio de Janeiro State Athletics Federation) is the official entity that represents, organizes, and regulates athletics in the State of Rio de Janeiro. It is affiliated with the Confederação Brasileira de Atletismo (CBAt) (Brazilian Athletics Confederation), which is the highest authority for the sport in Brazil. FERAt's mission is to revive and strengthen athletics in Rio de Janeiro, promoting organization, credibility, and growth of the sport. Furthermore, FERAt is responsible for the homologation and oversight of road races and official events in Rio de Janeiro, as well as the organization and support of competitions in different categories, such as Adult, Under-14, Under-16, Under-18, Under-20, Meetings, and festivals.
